In this paper, we give necessary and sufficient conditions for the rigidityof perimeter inequality under Schwarz symmetrisation. The term rigidity refersto the situation in which the equality cases are only obtained by translationsof the symmetric set. In particular, we prove that the sufficient conditionsfor rigidity provided in \cite{fusco2013stability}, are also necessary.
