An electron autoresonant acceleration by the rotating TM110 mode microwavefield in an inhomogeneous magnetostatic field is studied. A set of differentialequations describing the evolution of the phase shift between the electronangular position and the angle for which the transferred power is maximum, thetotal electron energy, and the longitudinal electron velocity are obtained.Magnetic field profiles to keep the electron in the acceleration regime arefound. The results show that an electron injected along the cavity axis with anenergy of 30 keV can be accelerated up to energies about of 200 keV, using anelectric field amplitude of 20 kV/cm, a frequency of 8 GHz, and a linearmagnetic field profile. Also, we consider the case of electron acceleration inexact resonance conditions. The corresponding magnetic field profile predictedby the model was found. The results presented in this paper can be useful fordesigning RF accelerators, based on the circular rotating TM110 mode, used inx-ray sources for medical applications or airport security, among others.
