This extended abstract presents our recent work on the leader-followingconsensus control for generic linear multi-agent systems. An improved dynamicevent-triggered control framework are proposed, based on a moving averageapproach. The proposed methods involve model-based estimation and clock-likeauxiliary dynamic variables to increase the inter-event time as long aspossible eventually. Compared to the static event-triggered strategy and theexisting state-of-the-art dynamic event-triggered mechanism, the proposedapproach significantly reduces the communication frequency while stillguaranteeing asymptotic convergence. Numerical simulations demonstrate thevalidity of the proposed theoretical results.
