Efficient third-order nonlinearities of the Zinc Oxide and Al-doped ZincOxide were studied by Third Harmonic Generation (Third Harmonic Generation)Maker fringes to establish the effect Aluminum of Aluminum doping(Al-doping) onthe cubic nonlinearities. The addition of the Al-dopant to the Zinc Oxidecrystal structure results in changes that affected the optical and nonlinearcharacteristics. Presented results indicate that magnitude of the third-ordernonlinear susceptibility tensor was enhanced at single experimentalwavelengths, however, across the broadband experimental spectrum the effect ofAl-doping remained relatively constant. The observed enhancement of third-ordernonlinearity was purely from the bound electronic response and the observationis attributed to increased charge carriers and spontaneous polarization in theZinc Oxide and Al-doped Zinc Oxide crystal structure.
