We investigate the electronic Raman scattering of Sr$_2$RuO$_4$ using amaterial-realistic dynamical mean-field theory approach. We identify thelow-energy Fermi liquid behavior and point out that the enhanced Raman responseat higher energies is a fingerprint of Hund metals. These signatures originatein the two-stage coherence of Hund metals and associated quasiparticle`unrenormalization'. In agreement with recent experimental observations, wefind the $\mathrm{B}_{1g}$ and $\mathrm{B}_{2g}$ responses differ, but ourcalculations suggest a novel interpretation of this dichotomy. The$\mathrm{B}_{1g}$ response is dominated by the $xy$ orbital and the$\mathrm{B}_{2g}$ response receives contributions from all orbitals and isstrongly affected by previously unnoticed finite-frequency interband nesting.We calculate the vertex-corrections to Raman response and show that theireffect is nonvanishing but small.
