Confronting the unveiled sophisticated multiscale structural and physicalcharacteristics of hysteresis simulation of permanent magnets, notablysamarium-cobalt (Sm-Co) alloy, a novel scheme is proposed linking physics-basedmicromagnetics on the nanostructure level and magnetostatic homogenization onthe mesoscale polycrystal level. Thereby the micromagnetics-informed surrogatehysteron is the key to bridge the scales of nanostructure and polycrystalstructure. This hysteron can readily emulate the local magnetization reversalwith the nanoscale mechanisms considered, such as nucleation of domains, anddomain wall migration and pinning. The overall hysteresis, based on a sinteredSm-Co polycrystal, considering both mesoscale and nanoscale characteristics, issimulated and discussed.
