In this paper, we propose a level set-based shape optimization method foracoustic wave propagation problems with a deformable structure. First, wepropose a mathematical model for acoustic wave propagation with a deformedstructure based on coordinate transformation and the Eulerian approach. Next,we formulate the shape optimization problem and perform sensitivity analysisbased on the shape derivative concept. We then construct an optimizationalgorithm based on the framework of a level set-based shape and topologyoptimization method. Finally, we provide two-dimensional optimization examplesthat demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method in providingoptimized designs with desired functionality, while considering the structuraldeformation.
