A multi-channel quantum router with four nodal cavities is constructed by twocoupled-resonator waveguides and four single cavities. We can achievedirectional routing by adjusting the probability of photon exiting from thespecified port to close to 100% based on multiple pathways between the photonfrom the incident port to the outgoing port in this hybrid system. Under theeffect of phase difference between two classical light fields, the mutualinterference between different pathways can be adjusted to destructiveinterference or constructive interference, which lays the foundation for theincrease and decrease of the routing probability. The influence of differentparameter values on single photon routing probability is also studied. Bystudying the analytic formula of probability amplitude, we get the physicalmechanism of exiting ports being closed under certain parameter conditions andthe phase relationship between the backward transmission and the originaldirection transmission of photons. Furthermore the non-reciprocal transmissionand directional routing beyond chiral coupling can also be realized, whichprovides new possibilities for the study of quantum routers and new insightsfor the study of photon transmission characteristics.
