Automatic synthesis from temporal logic specifications is an attractivealternative to manual system design, due to its ability to generatecorrect-by-construction implementations from high-level specifications. Due tothe high complexity of the synthesis problem, significant research efforts havebeen directed at developing practically efficient approaches for restrictedspecification language fragments. In this paper, we focus on the Safety LTLfragment of Linear Temporal Logic (LTL) syntactically extended with boundedtemporal operators. We propose a new synthesis approach with the primarymotivation to solve efficiently the synthesis problem for specifications withbounded temporal operators, in particular those with large bounds. Theexperimental evaluation of our method shows that for this type ofspecifications, it outperforms state-of-art synthesis tools, demonstrating thatit is a promising approach to efficiently treating quantitative timingconstraints in safety specifications.
