In this paper, the production and spectroscopic investigation of Mercury andRadon isotopes was performed using complete fusion reactions neutronevaporation residues and multi-nucleon transfer reaction at the mass-separatorMASHA. The MASHA setup is installed on the beam line of Cyclotron U-400M atFlerov Laboratory of Nuclear Reactions (FLNR) in Joint Institute for NuclearResearch (JINR), Dubna, Russia. The isotopes produced in complete fusionreactions 148Sm(40Ar, xn)188-xHg, 166Er(40Ar, xn)206-xRn and multi-nucleontransfer reaction 48Ca + 242Pu were passed through the magnetooptical system ofMASHA setup with charge state Q=+1 and were separated on the basis of theirmass to charge ratio. For the detection of these isotopes, a position sensitiveSi detector was used. Further, the experimental data obtained were analysed andspectroscopic investigations were carried out.
