Hadronic phase and its dynamics in relativistic heavy-ion collisions aretopics of immense discussion. In this respect, resonances can play an importantrole in determining the characteristics of the hadronic phase as they havesufficiently small lifetimes, which may be comparable to the hadronic phaselifetime. The resonances produced at the QCD phase boundary undergore-scattering and regeneration processes within the hadronic medium. We use a1+1D second-order viscous hydrodynamics for the evolution of hadronic medium togovern $K^*(892)^0$ kinematics. Hydrodynamics breaks down at the Knudsen number($Kn$) limit: $Kn>1$, where the mean free path becomes sufficiently largecompared to the system size and the particle yield gets preserved. Further, netyields of $K^*(892)^0$ \& $K$ are obtained at the kinetic freeze-out boundary,.i.e. $Kn>1$. In the current study, we predict hadronic phase lifetime and thenthe ratio of $K^*(892)^0/K$ is obtained, which qualitatively agrees with theexperimental data as a function of the final state multiplicity.

Estimating the hadronic phase lifetime in heavy-ion collisions at the Large Hadron Collider by employing a hydrodynamical framework
