Coplanarity of subcores of $\gamma$-ray--hadron families found in cosmic-rayexperiments at $E_0 \gtrsim 10^{16}$ eV requires appearance of a coplanargeneration of most energetic particles. Long-range near-side "ridge" effect in$ pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 7$ TeV was found by the CMS Collaboration intwo-particle $\Delta\eta - \Delta\varphi$ correlation functions at$|\Delta\eta| \gtrsim 3$ and $|\Delta\varphi| \approx 0$. The FANSY 2.0 modelreproduces both the hadron coplanarity and "ridge" effect.
