In this contribution, a measurement of the top quark pole mass$m_{\text{t}}^{\text{pole}}$ is presented. Events where a top quark-antiquarkpair ($\text{t}\bar{\text{t}}$) is produced in association with at least oneadditional energetic jet ($\text{t}\bar{\text{t}}$+jet) are analyzed. The dataset recorded by the CMS experiment at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV,corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 36.3fb$^{-1}$, is used.Reconstructed events are required to contain two opposite-sign leptons in thefinal state. Machine learning methods are employed for the reconstruction ofthe main observable event classification. The normalized$\text{t}\bar{\text{t}}$+jet production cross section as a function of theinverse of the invariant mass of the $\text{t}\bar{\text{t}}$+jet system ismeasured at the parton level using a likelihood unfolding method. The value for$m_{\text{t}}^{\text{pole}}$ is extracted by comparing the measurement tonext-to-leading order theoretical predictions using two parton distributionfunctions (PDFs). For a reference set of the ABMP16NLO PDF, the resulting valueis $m_{\text{t}}^{\text{pole}} = 172.94\pm1.37$ GeV.
