We study criteria for and properties of boundary-to-boundary holography in aclass of spin network states defined by analogy to tensor networks. Inparticular, we consider superposition of states realising a genuine sum overdiscrete quantum geometries. By applying random tensor techniques we mapentropy calculations to a random Ising model on the underlying graph, withdistribution of couplings determined by the relative sizes of the involvedgeometries. We find that, whenever each individual geometry produces anisometric mapping from a boundary region to its complement, the superpositionof them does the same if and only if the relative weight of each geometry isinversely proportional to its size. Additionally, we compute average value andvariance of the input boundary region and show that the first is bounded frombelow and above by, respectively, the mean and sum of the areas of theindividual-geometries. We finally describe possible extensions to our programand highlight the conceptual issues underpinning them.
