We study the one-dimensional spin-1/2 Kitaev-Gamma model with abond-dependent Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya (DM) interaction, which can be induced byan electric field applied in the third direction where the first and seconddirections refer to the two bond directions in the model. By a combination offield theory and symmetry analysis, an extended gapless phase with an emergentSU(2)$_1$ conformal symmetry is found in the phase diagram of the spin-1/2Kitaev-Gamma-DM chain. The analytic predictions are in good agreements withnumerical results obtained from density matrix renormalization groupsimulations.
