Inspired by classical polar codes, whose coding rate can asymptoticallyachieve the Shannon capacity, researchers are trying to find its analogue inquantum information field, which are called quantum polar codes. However, noone has designed a quantum polar coding scheme which applies to quantumcomputing yet. There are two intuitions in previous research. The first is thatdirectly converting classical polar coding circuits to quantum ones willproduce polarization phenomenon of pure quantum channel, which has been provedin our previous work. The second is that based on this quantum polarizationphenomenon one can design a quantum polar coding scheme that applies to quantumcomputing. In this paper, we try to follow the second intuition and proposequantum polar stabilizer codes for quantum computing. Unfortunately, simulationresults show that quantum polar stabilize codes based on directly convertingclassical polar coding circuits to quantum ones don't work for quantumcomputing.
