Simultaneous manifestation of both forward and inverse photonic Spin Halleffect in geometrically tailored anisotropic waveguided plasmonic crystalsystem is observed through the excitation of the leaky hybridized quasiguidedmodes. The quasiguided modes of the plasmonic crystal manifested in thefar-field momentum (Fourier) domain as circular ring-like intensitydistributions, and the different spin orbit interaction (SOI) effects revealedtheir exclusive signature as polarization-dependent azimuthal intensity lobeson top of it. Using a darkfield Fourier domain polarization Mueller matrixplatform, we have observed input spin (circular polarization)- dependenttrajectory of the leaky quasiguided modes in the momentum domain (forward spinHall effect) and its reciprocal effect as the wave vector-controlled spinselection of quasiguided modes (inverse spin Hall effect). These effects areseparately manifested in characteristic Mueller matrix elements enabling theirinterpretation as geometrical circular anisotropy effects. Resonance-enabledenhancement and control of these effects are also demonstrated by exploitingthe spectral Fano-type resonance. The far-field manifestation ofspin-directional excitation of leaky quasiguided modes, their uniqueinterpretation through momentum domain Mueller matrix, regulation and controlof the SOI effects in plasmonic-photonic crystal systems, opens up excitingavenues in spin-orbit photonic research.
