Qubit Models which aim to resolve the information paradox must not redefineentanglement entropy as a redefinition does not address the correct issue ofthe information paradox. The purpose of this letter is to understand why anyredefinition of entanglement entropy is not relevant to the paradox. Also,conditions required for a bit model to resolve the information paradox arelisted, motivating the community to look for such conditions as a consistencycheck in their qubit models.
