In this paper, the pressure correctionfinite element method is proposed forthe 2D/3D time-dependent thermomicropolarfluid equations. Thefirst-order andsecond-order backward difference formulas (BDF) are adopted to approximate thetime derivative term, stability analysis and error estimation of thefirst-order semi-discrete scheme are proved. Finally, some numerical examplesare given to show the effectiveness and reliability of the proposed method,which can be used to simulate the problem with high Rayleigh number.
