I argue that the usual rules of quantum mechanics on measurement outcomeshave to be complemented with (or rather, understood to include) the conditionthat observers who are themselves going to be subject to measurements in alinear combination of macroscopic states cannot make reliable predictions onthe results of experiments performed after such measurements. Quantummechanical rules completed with this condition lift the paradox identified byFrauchiger and Renner and become fully consistent.
