This paper deals with the micro-macro derivation of virus models coupled witha reaction diffusion models that generates the dynamics in space of the virusparticles. The first part of the presentation focuses, starting from [5, 6] ona survey and a critical analysis of some phenomenological models known in theliterature. The second part shows how methods of the kinetic theory can be usedto model the dynamics of the system treated in our paper. The third part dealswith the derivation of macroscopic models from the underlying description,delivered within a general framework of the kinetic theory.
