The anomaly cancellation is at the basis of the perturbative consistence ofthe Standard Model and it provides a partial explanation of chargequantization. We consider an effective Electroweak theory on a lattice, with aquartic interaction describing the weak forces and an interaction with the e.m.field. We prove the validity of the anomaly cancellation at a non perturbativelevel and with a finite lattice cut-off, even if the lattice breaks someimportant symmetries, on which perturbative arguments for the cancellation arebased. The method of the proof has analogies with the one adopted forestablishing universality in transport of quantum materials.
