For improving the performance and effectiveness of peer review, a novelreview system is proposed, based on analysis of peer review process foracademic journals under a parallel model built via Monte Carlo method. Themodel can simulate the review, application and acceptance activities of thereview systems, in a distributed manner. According to simulation experiments ontwo distinct review systems respectively, significant advantages manifest forthe novel one.
