Most recently, Bykov and coworkers reported the successful synthesis oflayered structure of BeN4. Followed by the experimental report, Bafekry andcoworkers published their first-principles results on the stability,electronic, optical and elastic constants of BeN4 monolayer. In theaforementioned work, authors made numerous wrong claims and reported erroneousresults.
