In this paper, the notion of robust strict QSR-dissipativity is applied tosolve the static output feedback control problem for a class of continuous-timenonlinear rational systems subject to input saturation and bounded parametricuncertainties. A local dissipativity condition is combined with generalizedsector conditions to formulate the synthesis of a stabilizing controller interms of linear matrix inequalities. The strategy applies to general staticoutput feedback design without any restrictions on the plant output equation.An iterative algorithm based on linear matrix inequalities is proposed in orderto compute the feedback gain matrix that maximizes the estimate of theclosed-loop region of attraction. Numerical examples are provided to illustratethe applicability of this new approach in examples borrowed from theliterature.
