We describe how some problems (interpretability,lack of object-orientedness)of modern deep networks potentiallycould be solved by adapting a biologicallyplausible saccadicmechanism of perception. A sketch of such a saccadicvisionmodel is proposed. Proof of concept experimental results areprovided tosupport the proposed approach.
