We prove functional, distributional limit theorems for the occupation timesof pointwise dual ergodic transformations at "tied-down" times immediatelyafter "excursions". The limiting processes are tied down Mittag-Lefflerprocesses and the transformations involved exhibit functional tied-down renewalmixing properties strengthening those of [AS19].
