Prepositional supersense annotation is time-consuming and requires experttraining. Here, we present two sensible methods for obtaining prepositionalsupersense annotations by eliciting surface substitution and similarityjudgments. Four pilot studies suggest that both methods have potential forproducing prepositional supersense annotations that are comparable in qualityto expert annotations.
