To solve the problem of power supply limitation of machines working inwireless industry automation, we evaluated the workload aware service ratecontrol design implanted in the medium access control component of these smalldevices and proposed a bio-intelligence based algorithm to optimise the designregarding the delay constraint while minimizing power consumption. To achievethis, we provide an accurate analysis of the delay cost of this design and forthe first time pinpoint an exact departure process model in order to evaluatethe overall delay cost in consideration of the medium access time.
