In view of wide applications of structured light fields and plasmonicvortices, we propose the concept of compound plasmonic vortex and designseveral structured plasmonic vortex generators. This kind of structuredplasmonic vortex generators consists of multiple spiral nanoslits and they cangenerate two or more concentric plasmonic vortices. Different fromLaguerre-Gaussian beam, the topological charge of the plasmonic vortex indifferent region is different. Theoretical analysis lays the basis for thedesign of radially structured plasmonic vortex generators and numericalsimulations for several examples confirm the effectiveness of the designprinciple. The discussions about the interference of vortex fields definite thegeneration condition for the structured vortex. This work provides a designmethodology for generating new vortices using spiral nanoslits and the advancedradially structured plasmonic vortices is helpful for broadening theapplications of vortex fields.
