Electric vehicle (EV) aggregation can significantly influence the EVscharging/discharging behavior. In this paper, we use a distributed algorithmbased on the alternating direction method of multipliers (ADMM) to coordinateEV charging and discharging procedures for EVs with vehicle-to-grid (V2G)capabilities. The optimization model is formulated as a mixed-integer quadraticprogramming (MIQP) problem to consider the efficiency of EV batteries anddifferent energy prices in both charging and discharging processes. Numericaltests using real-world data confirms that the implemented method allowsobtaining both the electric vehicle aggregator (EVA) and individual EV goalswhile considering the power grid and each EV constraints. Moreover, we show thesignificant impact of our model on the final demand profile and computationtime.
