The purpose of this study is to give an opinion on which software should beused by researchers working in applied fields when using free software found inthe literature. Of course, this study is not enough alone as there is nocomparison with other free software, but this study provides comprehensiveinformation about the algorithms used by the Hybrid Algorithm for Non-smoothOptimization software, known as HANSO. In addition to this information, therobustness and the accuracy of this software are discussed in this study.
