In this paper, which is a continuation of earlier work by the first authorand Gunnar Carlsson, one of the first results we establish is the additivity ofthe motivic Becker-Gottlieb transfer, the corresponding trace as well as theirrealizations. We then apply this to derive several important consequences: forexample, we settle a conjecture of Morel regarding the assertion that theEuler-characteristic of $\rmG/\NT$ for a split reductive group scheme $\rmG$and the normalizer of a split maximal torus $\NT$ is $1$ in theGrothendieck-Witt ring. We also obtain the analogues of various double cosetformulae known in the classical setting of algebraic topology.
