The electromagnetic potential is the only force relevant to understandpolyelectrolytes and it should enables us to reveal all polyelectrolytesproperties. We argue that dielectric spectroscopy probes the average dipolemoment of the pure water polyelectrolyte probing this way the polyion -counterion potential. From this polyion potential can be evaluated in theregion from the polyion vicinity all the way to the bulk.
