In this note, we prove a law of large numbers for local patterns in planepartitions with geometric weight, a model introcued by Okounkov andReshetikhin. Its proof is based on the determinantal structure of thecorresponding point process, wich allows to control the decay of thecorrelations in a convenient manner.
