The dynamics of the current sheet of a Plasma Focus device is simulated witha two-dimensional model, in the radial expansion and the axial accelerationphase. The simulation considers the free expansion of the current sheet inhydrogen gas, without cathodes, and the comparison of experimental data withcathodes and without cathodes, using the parameters of Sumaj Lauray PlasmaFocus 720 J.
