Visual multi-object tracking has the potential to accelerate many forms ofquantitative analyses, especially in research communities investigating themotion, behavior, or social interactions within groups of animals. Despite itspotential for increasing analysis throughput, complications related toaccessibility, adaptability, accuracy, or scalable application arise withexisting tracking systems. Several iterations of prototyping and testing haveled us to a multi-object tracking system -- ABCTracker -- that is: accessiblein both system as well as technical knowledge requirements, easily adaptable tonew videos, and capable of producing accurate tracking data through a mixtureof automatic and semi-automatic tracking features.
