At the initial stage, the development of wave reactors, which will operate inthe mode of wave nuclear burning (WNC), requires the study of the kinetics ofthe WNC fuel mode when changing both external parameters (flux density of anexternal neutron source, thermal parameters of heat transfer) and internalparameters (fuel composition, reactor material parameter, delayed neutrons). Inorder to confirm the possibility of WNC with enrichment, we study its impact onthe criterion of WNC for thorium fuel Th232 at different enrichments in Pu239)and its behavior during the "ignition" stage. To confirm the fulfillment of thecriterion of slow WNC depending on the neutron energy, we perform a numericalsimulation of the thorium fuel WNC mode dynamics, taking into account thedelayed neutrons in the thermal and epithermal regions of the neutron energies(0.015-10 eV).
