The SU(2) gauge theory with 8 fundamental fermions is studied usingunimproved staggered regularization. A phase transition or a crossover atstrong coupling, which can be a bulk transition. By using chiral random matrixmodel we analyze the chiral condensate of this system. We also report thechiral susceptibility and its volume dependence near the transition point.
