Atmospheric pressure plasma jets (APPJ) are investigated as an efficientapproach to induce antitumor effects of cancerous tissues without inducing anydamage (e.g. dessication, burnings). For this, a two-steps methodology has beendeveloped where first APPJ are calibrated and characterized on targetsmimicking electrical properties of living organisms (mice, human body) andsecond where they are applied on murine models to demonstrate their innocuityand therapeutic efficiency.
