This article assesses the use of a new type of electron accelerator, theMultirhodotron, for four new purposes that cannot be implemented usingRhodotrons and linacs. This study awards some arguments about possiblereplacement of nuclear reactors by electron accelerators in process ofproducing of medical isotopes on a global scale, about new possible electronaccelerator for high energy, also describes new possibilities of actuation offree-electron lasers (FEL) at the megawatt level in the continuous wave (CW)mode, and suggests some decision of the use of Multirhodotron for technology ofelectron cooling in proton accelerators and colliders.
