Motivated by the recent developments in stability of hydrogen atom in a spacewith one finite extra-dimension,we consider that physical mesons are alsostable in such a space and estimate their masses in a QCD inspired potentialmodel. Our analysis suggests that a model of mesons with linear plus coulombpotential in a space with one finite extra-dimension of size very very lessthan 10^{-18} m is compatible with the present experimental data of heavyflavour mesons.
