In this paper we construct the operator connecting the three vertex in halfstring field theory and the dual model vertex of Sciuto, Caneshi Schwimmer andVeneziano (SCSV). This construction results in an explicit conformaltransformation linking the two interactions in the matter sector at all levels.Thus establishing the equivalence in the matter sector between the two theoriesat least for N = 3.
