The anomalies in semileptonic $B$-decays are often attributed to new physicsscenarios featuring leptoquark degrees of freedom. Attempts to accommodate allthe deviations at once usually result in an elaborate model building way beyondthe minimal scenarios containing the desired degrees of freedom. However, as itis far from clear whether all these signals (if any) survives the futureexperimental scrutiny, in this contribution we decided to take the oppositestandpoint and review the actual room available for various $B$-decay anomalieswithin the very minimal low-energy leptoquark gauge model based on the$SU(4)_{C}\otimes SU(2)_{L}\otimes U(1)_{R}$ symmetry group.
