In this paper we develop a computational offloading strategy with gracefuldegradation for executing Model Predictive Control using the cloud. Backed upby previous work we simulate the control of a cyber-physical-system at highfrequency and illustrate how the system can be improved using the edge whilekeeping the computational burden low.
