Providing uplink high data rate is one of the big concerns in visible lightcommunication (VLC) systems. This paper introduces an uplink VLC system basedon an infrared transmitter with beam steering to provide high data rates. Inthis work, a 4 branches angle diversity receiver (ADR) is used and theresultant delay spread and SNR are examined. The proposed system achieved datarates up to 3.57 Gb/s using simple on-off-keying (OOK).
