Based on preliminary results from the Causal Fermion Systems frameworkregarding the matter-antimatter asymmetry in the universe, I propose a novelstory line for the universe that would, if correct, resolve a number ofproblems in cosmology. First and foremost, the here-presented arguments suggestto identify cold dark matter as third generation (anti-)neutrinomass-eigenstates $\nu_3$. Furthermore, the proposal suggests a new look at theproblem of initial conditions. Last but not least, the proposal also provides anew angle on the cosmological constant.
