Emergent cosmological models, together with the Big Bang and bouncingscenarios, are among the possible descriptions of the early Universe. This workaims at clarifying some general features of the primordial tensor powerspectrum in this specific framework. In particular, some naive beliefs arecorrected. Using a toy model, we investigate the conditions required to producea scale invariant spectrum and show to which extent this spectrum can exhibitlocal features sensitive to the details of the scale factor evolution near thetransition time.
