Asymmetric-double-bars (ADB) structure is one of the most interestingplasmonic metamaterials that has been broadly investigated. Here we propose tomanufacture ADB on top of elastic material, to get direct control to thedimension of ADB elements. To analyze the spectra numerically, simulation bycommercial software (COMSOL) are carried out. We successfully modify thecharacteristic spectra and enhance Q-factor of the peak near infrared byintroducing angular and amplitude parameters of the stretching of substrate inthe simulation. At the mean time, we significantly restrain red shift in theabsorption spectra by applying flipped-configuration and substrate etchingconfiguration to ADB structure. Intriguing quadratic functions betweenstretching ratio and the absorption peak wavelength are obtained whenstretching in x and y direction. For other directions, EIT lineshape appears intransmission spectra. These results might contribute to future application ofplasmonic metamaterial in laser controlling and sensors.
