Although many observations in high multiplicity p+Pb collisions at the LHCindicate striking similarity to heavy ion collisions, no evidence of jet-mediuminteractions has been observed till date. We study the effect of jet-mediuminteraction on the charge dependent three-particle correlation in highmultiplicity p+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN} }$ = 5.02 TeV using EPOS 3 eventgenerator. The short range component of the three-particle correlation isdominated by the jet fragmentation and has a unique charge dependence asobserved in the minimum bias p+Au collisions at the RHIC energy. In EPOS 3,similar pattern has been observed in the lower multiplicity classes of p+Pbcollisions where jet fragmentation plays the dominant role. Interestingly, thecharge dependence of three-particle correlation gets diminished in the highermultiplicity classes of p+Pb collisions where the jet-medium interactions asimplemented in EPOS 3 plays an important role. The current study can,therefore, provide possible ways to investigate the jet-medium interaction inhigh multiplicity classes of small collision systems at the LHC energies.
